My Sister's Graduation

Hello! It's Megan again....

On the 23rd of July, my beloved sister finally graduated from UQ, after a long waited 4 years of studying and stressing.

Having lived with her my entire life, I got a pretty good back stage glimpse of all her hard work she put into, in order to finally achieve this day. I am so very proud of her!

So here are some photos to document this wonderful day!

Out n About #4 - Jen's surprise dinner

Hellloo! It's Megan again...On Friday, a few of my friends planned a surprise birthday for our friend: Jenny's 16th.  We appeared at the footsteps of her house without prior notice and literally just dragged her out for dinner with us (aren't we great friends to her??). We settled in a nice restaurant on Grey Street in South Bank called 'Cucina by Toscani's.' As we went there shortly after school, we were all exceptionally hungry and devoured and savored our food. But this was of course after we captured photos of about every possible angle there was of our food hahaha!! :))

A feast indeed

Waffles from Gelare

WHATT minion tictacs?!?!  I'm so excited to see the minion movie when it comes out!!!

Out n About #3 - Geography camp

Hello! It's Megan again... On Wednesday (29/4), I embarked on my first camp during high school to investigate the Nerang River Catchment for Geography. The weather was misty and dull throughout the two days but we made use of the time to visit as many sites as possible. The camp consisted of:

Day 1:
  • Numinbah Valley EEC
  • Border Gate
  • Bochow Park
  • Forest Park
  • Numunbah Valley Hall
  • Canoeing activity
  • Glow worm visit

I think my favourite part of the whole trip was witnessing glowworms for the first time. It felt spectacular and surreal being inside the cave in complete darkness and accepting the fact that such heavenly and eccentric animals exist on this Earth.

Day 2:
  • Hinze Dam
  • Weedons crossing
  • Gold Coast Arts Centre
  • Lunch at Australia Fair

Natural Bridge waterfall which looked breath-taking

Thank you for reading!!

Out n About #2 - Wivenhoe Dam & Lake

HELLOoo! It's Megan Again...

On Sunday, my mum and I (+ a bunch of her friends) decided to head down to Wivenhoe Dam, for a day of road tripping and sightseeing. We left the house at around 9:30 am in the morning and spent the entire day either on the road or just enjoying the breathtaking and tranquil scenery offered.
To be completely honest, when I first arrived at the Dam Lookout, I wasn't totally impressed with the view and thought nothing much of it. But once arriving at  the lake, it was a totally different story. The view stunned me at first sight and I immediately rushed down the hill, to have a have a more clear view of the incredible scene in front of my eyes. Looking back, it felt so surreal just sitting on the damp grass and just gazing over the still water, into the distance.

Lake Wivenhoe was the exact image I imagined New Zealand to be like (not that I've been there :/) and it felt like as if I was having a one day cruise there! I would definitely head back to Lake Wivenhoe again and this time, it would be a must to set up a simple picnic on the field of grass and to just admire the serene view.

I actually thought that this was real gold for the longest time there *cries*

ugh my eyes are closed, but I thought this was a cute picture of us

Hope you all enjoyed coming along with me in this little road-trip!

Autumn Wishlist

Hello my lovelies! It's Megan again...I can't believe it's almost halfway through April and I can definitely start feeling the Autumn morning chills, especially when I first step onto my glacial - like tiles.
I associate Autumn as the beginning of endings...so that leaves are beginning to shed from its branches, the remaining summer flowers start to shrivel up from the morning breeze, animals prepare to gather food to lurk in the winter months and the sun itself is starting to glow dimmer and the night emerging earlier.
In Autumn for me, I've notice that I've began struggling to get out of my cocoon of blankets in the morning and that I've been enjoying my cup of warm tea even more. On the other hand, Autumn has also meant that I could finally bring out my boots n sweaters that have seen no light since last year. But that also means that it's time to add some new additions to my wardrobe.

So here is an Autumn wishlist I've compiled together, to display the bits n pieces I desire deeply and lust after to will hopefully one day become mine.

                      1. Halter Bralette  // 2. Sheer grid socks  // 3. Mom Jeans // 4. Speckled Turtleneck sweater // 5. Fedora // 6. Floral button down skirt
